Sunrisers Hyderabad defeated Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) in the IPL 2016 final to claim the year’s lone championship. The opening pair for SRH added 63 runs for the first wicket while they batted first. D. Warner, the skipper, was the bully in the relationship.
By getting S Dhawan out on 28 off 25 balls, Y Chahal ended the partnership. Despite wickets falling at the other end, the Australian opener kept playing his shots. He hit 8 fours and 3 sixes in his 69 from 38 balls.
Ben Cutting and Yuvraj Singh both had significant cameo roles. While the latter scored 39 points off just 15 balls, the former scored 38 points off of 23.
In the first inning, Sunrisers Hyderabad scored 208 runs. C Jordon claimed three wickets but went for runs as well.
When RCB came out to chase the goal, they got off to a flying start, hitting the SRH bowlers all over the place thanks to V Kohli and C Gayle. In the cooperation, the latter was primarily hostile. He hit four fours and eight sixes while scoring 76 off just 38 balls.
The 114-run first-wicket stand was broken by B Cutting. After that, RCB’s run-pursuit impetus slowed down.
While V Kohli reaches his half-century, no other batters contributed a game-winning inning to help RCB win the championship. Virat hit 5 fours and 2 sixes in his 54 off 35 balls. B Kumar produced a superb session, allowing just 25 runs over the course of his 4 overs.
RCB reached 200 runs on the scoreboard but came 8 runs short of the goal.
Sunrisers Hyderabad now plans to repeat these feats in the IPL 2023 in an effort to win the championship a second time. And this time around, they have a really strong squad for that. Check out their team first.

Today, we will see who will keep wickets for Sunrisers Hyderabad in the IPL 2023. They have quite a few options in the squad. Let’s see the options.
(1) Glenn Philips
The New Zealander is one of the first choices for the wicket keeper in the playing XI of Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) in the IPL 2023. Glenn Philips is one of the best batters in T20 cricket for a while now and is most likely to feature in the first XI of the SRH.
He is one of the players who can keep wickets for SRH in the IPL 2023.
(2) Heinrich Klaasen
Heinrich Klaasen is also one of the members of the squad who can be considered for a wicket keeper role in the team. He is in very good form of late and a very good batter who plays the spin very well. The South African can fill the spot of a wicket keeper and can play in the middle order.
(3) Upendra Singh Yadav
The 26 years old UP boy is one of the player who can fill the spot of a wicket keeper if he gets the chance in the playing XI. If the team considered him in the playing XI, it opens the spot of another overseas player other than Heinrich Klaasen and Glenn Philips.
So these three are the options Sunrisers Hyderabad will look for in the IPL 2023 for the wicketkeeping job. Most likely, Glenn Philips should be given the first priority as he is likely to feature in the playing XI considering his form currently. So he can keep wickets for the team as well.
But we can’t rule out the other two options as well. Also, Aiden Markram could be the one who will lead the side in the IPL 2023. Let’s see how it panned out.
