But my on-field presence will still be there to smash huge sixes and grab wickets in every other league all over the world.

Being a power coach, it’s time for you to pass down the wisdom, the muscle, and the power to our boys sporting in purple and gold jerseys. Yeah! Even though the other jerseys might appear weird on you, Musclle Russell for your entire life! On behalf of the team and every individual who loves the sport, we Love You,” Shah Rukh Khan posted.

As of now, there is a huge void left by Russell in both the batting and bowling line-up of the Knight Riders.
At the same time, the former champions aim to revamp the squad, holding the largest purse of INR 64.30 crore among all teams.
Notably, Russell is the second-highest run scorer for Kolkata, having amassed 2,658 runs in 159 matches at a strike rate of 175, including 13 fifties to his name. Likewise, his bowling achievements are nothing short of outstanding, as he ranks as the second-highest wicket-taker of SRK’s owned team, tallying upto 124 wickets.
