Rohit Sharma Stated “I don’t Abuse My Teammates To Hurt”

Rohit Sharma, the Indian Cricket Team Captain, has been heard hurling abuses towards his teammates frequently during games. During the five-match Test series against England, Rohit went over the line and snapped at the team’s younger players. His teammates’ disregard for his directions and careless fielding style angered him.

“My teammates have heard me hurl obscenities at them during the games.” I don’t use such language to harm anyone, even when my words have been heard on stump mic. I lead the side this way because it comes naturally to me. “We want them to learn that they must be aware at all times while playing.,” he said.

Young Indian Cricket Team beat England to win 17th consecutive Test Series at Home

India beat England 4-1 in the five-test match series to assert their home run by winning the 17th consecutive test series at home. The series started with England winning the first test in Ahmedabad.

Under Ben Stokes’ and head coach Brendon McCullum’s leadership, England lost their first Test series. The series began in Hyderabad. There they surprised the home team by winning by a margin of 28 runs.

To seal the series, though, Rohit Sharma and company did well in the next four games. In Ranchi, the Indian Cricket Team secured a 3-1 lead in the exciting series with a convincing 5-wicket win.

The series saw the absence of Virat Kohli, who was out because of the birth of his second child. Mohammad Shami too was out injuring his toe during the World Cup

This allowed Team India to field some younger players like Sarfaraz Khan, Dhruv Jurel, Rajat Patidar, Akashdeep, and Devdutt Padikkal. These players have been doing well in domestic cups for their states. Rohit Sharma was lauded for showing great captaincy on the field while managing a relatively younger side.

“My role is to make sure they complete the task that has been assigned to them.” They have to do it, no matter how they go about doing it. Whether it’s asking Dhruv Jurel to create unrest for the batsman so he steps out of the crease and gets stumped, or advising Sarfaraz Khan to stay at one place.

It was Sarfaraz Khan who told Jurel to be ready for the opening over of the fifth Test, predicting that Ollie Pope would come out of the crease. His prediction proved to be accurate. It was Jurel who took the wicket of Pope, he says.

Rohit Sharma was caught abusing multiple times during India vs England Test Series

Rohit losing his temper and verbally abusing his teammates is not a regular occurrence. But in their attempt to equalize the series, he asked the team to do everything they could. Some fans took issue with the veteran opener’s usage of foul language toward his teammates, despite his attempts to exercise caution on the field.

During England’s first innings of batting, the most contentious incident came after the 31st over. The Indian Cricket Team captain let his frustration out with his colleagues’ carelessness on the pitch show. Certain players looked lethargic on the field after Kuldeep Yadav’s over. So Rohit used foul language and urged them not to “walk around the garden.”

On the stump mic, one can hear Rohit Sharma saying, “Koi bhi garden me ghoomega toh, #$….” Social media users are reacting negatively to the captain’s bullying of his teammates in the video.

“I enjoy playing cricket with my new teammates. In the future, I hope we play a lot more cricket together for the Indian Cricket Team. As of right now, Rohit Sharma is playing in the Indian Premier League (IPL) 2024 for the Mumbai Indians (MI).

MI declared that Hardik Pandya will take Rohit Sharma’s place as the new Mumbai Indians captain. Since Rohit boasts the record of five IPL titles, this has led to a lot of heated debates.

Rohit will be the first Indian captain to play under a domestic teammate. The only other instance was in the 2017 Indian Premier League when MS Dhoni, the captain of India’s white-ball team at the time, played for Rising Pune Supergiant under Australian Steve Smith in a player-only role.
