Now, two of the best all-rounders, Ben Stokes and Ravindra Jadeja will play in the same team. This is a huge boost for CSK to have Ben Stokes on the team. He is a big match player and will play a huge role in IPL 2023 for CSK.
Also, they have two of the best openers in the IPL 2023 with Ruturaj Gaikwad in great form off late in domestic cricket. Devon Conway is a fine player and a watch-winner in world cricket.
Coming to their bowling, they have some good bowlers like Kyle Jamieson, Deepak Chahar, and Mukesh Chowdhary who can bowl well with the new ball. Especially a local boy Mukesh Chowdhary who can swing the new ball and is a wicket-taker.

Strength of CSK
One of the biggest strengths of Chennai Super Kings (CSK) in IPL 2023 is the all-rounders in the team. All-rounders like Ben Stokes, Ravindra Jadeja, Moeen Ali, and Shivam Dube will give balance to the team. It gives the team a good batting depth and a few more bowling options than the other teams.
Their openers and the batting lineup are also very good with some of the fine hitters on the team. Also, the leadership of MS Dhoni is important for CSK in IPL 2023.
Weakness
There is a slight weakness in the bowling lineup of CSK in IPL 2023. They have some of the good pacers for the new ball and the spinners in the team. But they don’t have an out n out fast bowler who can bowl in the back end of the inning. They have to look at this concern as soon as possible.
