Sam Curran becomes the most expensive player in the history of the Indian Premier League (IPL) history. He was bought by the Punjab Kings (PBKS) franchise for Rs. 18.25 crores.

He was the pick of the bowler for CSK in the 2nd inning. But his effort went in vain as MI won the high-scoring encounter at Delhi.
CSK scored a good total of 218 with the help of half-centuries from Faf du Plessis, M Ali, and A Rayudu. MI in reply, chased down a target with K Pollard becomes the hero of the match with his 87 off 34 balls.
